About The Draft Zone
History
Early 2010, we had watched the NFL draft and truly thought, why don't we create a website that can do that same thing. We started on a easy to use platform and just started to create a mock draft.
After a year or so, we started to get some attention doing a couple of podcast episodes and putting some effort into getting the name out there. It had been about 5 years or so and we were off to a good start. Traffic was good, money was still struggling, but it was merely a hobby at that time.

Around 2016, I talked with my cousin who seemed to have a pulse on the fantasy football world and thought about bringing him into the fold. If at the least to give him a platform, and based on his success, I was glad I could be the springboard to his growth as a fantasy football expert.
We reached out to fantasy pros and before long he was winning awards for some of the top 10 and top 5 experts in specific categories.

Branching Out
Transition
It was about 2019 when we were forced to transition away from NFL Mock into something different. I received a letter which stated the closeness of NFL Mock to some of the NFL entities and that I should consider changing the name.
After a number of rounds with different names, The Draft Zone was born. It wasn't long till the name caught on. We have been slowly growing but, we have had to take some time off due to additions to the family and other personal matters to tend to.

The mock draft is easy to read and can usually pinpoint things I have never realized. I keep coming back because The Draft Zone is able to supply information about prospects that no one is talking about.

I have followed this site over the years and watched the development of their style grow. I have come to trust a lot of the information from The Draft Zone and I look forward to draft season based on their input.
